*I am voluntarily leaving a review for this ARC I received from Netgalley and the publisher*This was the perfect end to a great series! I loved this book! I love how Ms. Michaels wrapped up all the loose ends from the series without shortchanging Felicity and Asher.
This is a powerful story of forgiveness, prejudices and second chances. It is a beautiful love story with some super steamy love scenes.
Felicity's secret came to light at the end of the previous book and now she lives in terror that she will be exposed and her entire family ruined. Her brothers and John Dane have a plan to find the blackmailer - they will enlist the help of a family friend, Asher Seyton.
Asher grew up with the family, as a servant. He is Felicity's first love and the man who she believes abandoned her. And as much as she wants to hate him, her heart can't stop loving him.
Asher always has and always will love Felicity, but he doesn't believe the son of a servant, no matter how successful his is, will ever be worthy of her.
As they work together to find the blackmailer, they give into the passion that has never died, even though neither believes they can have a future together.
When the blackmailer is found they suffer another setback - the information they seek has been sold to a villain from their past and their chance for a HEA seems nonexistent.
I was blown away by the final chapters of this book - I actually got goosebumps and teared up when Celia and Rosalind's father is revealed.
If you have been following this series - YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!! If you are new to the series, do not start with this book, read the series in order, believe me, it is worth the time and money - you will love it!!

Enjoyable.
I have read all of Jess Michaels books. I just found this book moving through the process slower. I will still continue to read her books. Because overall she is a great writer.
I don't usually read historical romance, but gave it a try. I just couldn't get into the story or characters much. The writing wasn't bad, it just didn't hold my interest. The characters I just didn't find very likeable.
I absolutely enjoyed reading this book very much. The Seasons series is great. I plan to read more books by Jess Michaels.
I love the story, and my first advise is read all 4 books. Every book brings back the character in the other books. With the 4th book, you finally get the answer from a threat that begins with the fist book too. It was really really good. I would say one of my best read with Jess Michael! Actually that is not true, she has a lot others that are very good too. But this one is fabulous for me!
Adored in Autumn is the last of the Seasons books. Felicity is trying to hide a secret that was discovered in Book 3 (though this can be read as a stand alone). Her brother Stenfax calls in their childhood friend Asher to help her, not knowing that they were in love in their youth and Asher broke Felicity's heart. Flames rekindle as Asher helps the family and all secrets are revealed.
This was a perfect ending to the series. Asher is a sweetheart and just what Felicity needs after her first abusive marriage. It's very sensual and loving, a great romance book.
I love regency romances! I've read many of this author's books with mixed results, loved some and liked others much less. This book was somewhere in the middle for me. The premise was intriguing - second chance love between a lady widow and a servant turned successful solicitor. The heroine, Lady Felicity Barbridge, was not very compelling - pretty and nice but bland and immature. The hero, Asher Seyton, was slightly more compelling - handsome and loyal but also martyrish. They had no chemistry. The storyline was dark and twisty. Overall, flat.
